To be considered for DIL, applicants must:

 

  • Complete a housing application 
  •  Have a fixed income: Receive SSI, SSDI, VA/Military,  Pension/Retirement income or be Employed  for at least 12 months 
  • Make monthly payments on time 
  • Follow house rules and community guidelines 
  • Work toward personal goals and independence 
  • Meet  program requirements

  •  Submit your housing application
  • Application and eligibility are reviewed within 24 to 48 hours
  • Complete a brief phone interview
  • Complete required screening
  • Review house rules and program expectations
  • If approved, confirm availability and move-in date
  • Sign your resident agreement
  • Schedule your move-in date
